Our Story
Connor Baldwin - The Glass Goof
Based in the vibrant city of Pensacola, Florida, Connor Baldwin is a passionate glassblower with over a decade of experience. A lifelong Floridian, Connor’s artistic journey began at an early age, inspired by his mother, a hobbyist glassblower who started working with glass in the late 1990s. Under her guidance, he developed a deep fascination with the craft and quickly realized that glassblowing was his true calling.
Although mostly self-taught, Connor earned an Associate’s Degree in Art from Pensacola State College, graduating in 2019. His education, combined with years of hands-on experimentation and practice, has shaped him into the artist he is today. Connor’s work is characterized by its vibrant colors and intricate designs, many of which are inspired by the natural world and the concept of balance. From swirling patterns reminiscent of ocean waves to bold, organic compositions, each piece reflects his deep connection to nature and his innate sense of harmony.
For Connor, glassblowing is more than just an art form—it’s a way of life. “When the glass is hot, it is alive, and so am I,” he says, describing the energy and vitality he feels when working with molten glass. This intimate relationship with his medium allows him to create pieces that are not only visually stunning but also deeply personal.
Connor’s artistry celebrates the unique, unpredictable beauty of glass. Whether he’s crafting a vibrant bowl, an elegant vase, or a striking sculpture, his work reflects a perfect blend of skill, passion, and creativity. Through his art, Connor invites others to experience the transformative magic of glassblowing and to see the world through the lens of color, movement, and light.
